PLEASE SUPPORT

Killybegs Community Hospital opened its doors in December 2000. The hospital serves the communities of Killybegs, Kilcar, Carrick, Glencolmcille, Ardara, Glenties and surrounding areas.  All the monies received is used to purchase equipment and make improvements that will make life more comfortable for patients.  To date the comfort fund has installed overhead hoists, bought comfort chairs, Tv.s and improved the hospice suite for both patients and their families, and much much more.  The Hospital would like to thank everyone in the community for their continued support.

Carrick Day Care Centre was opened in 1995 to provide a day service for the elderly in the Kilcar, Glencolmcille area.  The centre is a focal point in the community where people can meet for company, enjoy entertainment through music and dance, and learn to further crafts and skills. It provides valued support to the elderly of our community.  The Centre wish to thank the community for supporting the recent fundraisers.  Contributions deriving from the fundraising will be used for recreational and exercise equipment, craft instruction, outings and the annual Christmas social.

STRICTLY COME DANCING KILCAR

An event like no other brings before us 8 couples for one night only to show us if they have what it takes to become a dancing Diva or a Lord of the dance floor.  Being put through their dance routines for only 5 weeks giving up their free time to help raise money for these to great local charities.  They are sure to give us plenty of thrills and spills on the Blue Haven dance floor.  So the couples on the night are as follows:

1. - Orla Carr and Jason Shovlin
2. - Lisa Fernandez and Ross Brady
3. - Mary Breslin and Martin Byrne
4. - Breege Mc Shane and Andy Doherty (the postman)
5. - Siobhon O Gara and Patrick Mc Shane
6. - Barbara Hegarty and Shane Breslin
7. - Seamus Curran and Charlene Gallagher
8.- Stephen Barnes and Ethna Byrne

That’s the BIG NIGHT line up so spread the word and tell a friend and come along for a great nights
